BROWNELLS 2009 GUNSMITH CAREER FAIR DATES SET
Gunsmiths and Gun Businesses Invited To 3rd Annual Event

If you're a gunsmith who wants to grow your career, a gunsmithing student just starting your career, or a gun shop that wants to grow your business, you'll want to attend Brownells 3rd annual Gunsmith Career Fair, April 17th and 18th, 2009.

"The first two job fairs taught us much of what the gunsmithing industry wants," said CEO, Frank Brownell, "This is why we are expanding our event to include business growth and development, and why we're changing the name to "Career Fair". Matching up employers with job seekers is still the main emphasis, but we're adding a new component to provide existing gun shop owners and gunsmiths with education and ideas on to grow and expand their business."

With these goals in mind, the event will include more specialized seminars to help everyone learn some unique techniques and polish their business skills. According to company President, Pete Brownell, "I recommend that even manufacturers that are fully staffed now come out to trade information with their peers and meet their current and future gunsmith/gunshop customers. And, they just might meet that perfect-fit employee and find a way to hire them while they're there."

Once again the Career Fair has outgrown its home. For 2009, it will be held at the Meadows Events and Conference Center at Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino in Altoona, Iowa. "This is a great facility, with hotels and restaurants close by. It's right off I-80 and an easy run from the Des Moines Airport," said Pete Brownell.
